Kent is vice president at THO and leads teams that work within the financial, economic research and real estate professions. He plays a key role in developing and implementing strategic communications programs, special projects and crisis communications programs on behalf of THO’s clients.
During his 20-year career that began as a political reporter based in the Illinois Statehouse Kent has worked as a journalist, television news assignment editor, frontline spokesman for major education organizations and national institutions, and, most recently, as a trusted communications counselor for financial, real estate, architecture, technology and personal services clients. Kent holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
